My saturday

Whenever I feel I have wasted my day.I feel the need to tell it to somebody. And when I tell it to somebody I don't want him/her to give me a lecture nor would I want him/her to encourage me. So this is not exactly a sincere confession nor is this some sort of achievement. It is not feeling TOOOOO guilty nor does it give me satisfaction. I call it a BLOG.
Had seen my country win at perth. Was very happy but didnt feel that excitement. My Saturday had already started. It was 2:00 AM when i started to close my eyes. Slept well as if I had struggled through out the week working. Well doesnt matter a human needs 6-8 hours of sleep and Iam a big hearted man . I always take the highest rounding number. 2+ 8= 12 . My math isn't good as well.So my eyes again opened at 12 PM . I think good enough sleep. Anyway I had already missed half of my day. Before I could start doing something I started off a movie "The Seeker" rising of the dark . So saw the movie. Even if you dont do anything constructive your stomach doesnt know that it starts ringing when it feels it is empty. So i along with my frnd went down to eat. We went into a fast food center. It seemed as if I was in chennai. So felt like eating some chennai food. the call from my stomach was of GOTHU paratha. After a heavy stomach u always feel dizzy but I had wasted half of my day Sleeping so didnt want to sleep. So wot are my options. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.............movie...this time it was The MAN. It was nice comedy movie. Well once I was done watching what next. I felt I was watching too many English movies. Now it was time for some Hindi movie. I was just looking around and I found this shahid kapooor movie CHup chup ke. Watched that one as well. It was almost 7:30 when the movie ended. I really felt something bad about this so I got up and went for a Shower and i along with my friend went for strolling. We reached a chat house then it was about 8:45 so heard some sounds from my Stomach again. So had some Combo #1. The food tasted like some dhaba food. Roti , paneer mattar, shimla mirchi aloo with daal, raitha, papad, kheer and chas to finish it.Then went to some supermarket to get some stuff for my friend. Was getting just a little bit cold. As i was walking I saw COLD STONE. Reminded me of my old days when I used to hang out in the night eating Malai kulfi. Couldn't get that but some ice cream seemed a decent compensation. I come back what now. So can you believe I sat down for watching one more movie halla bol. making it four in a day. This is not the first time. I think Sunday has started and its again 2:00 am can't stay awake. Had to make myself realize that this aint the thing I need to do. But what can a dry leaf fallen from the tree into the river do.....flow with the river.....

India wins

Yes iNDIA has pulled of a blinder where everyone counted us out. Good team performance. Agressive mind set rather a positive mindset gives Indians the much needed win and as I wanted we have defeated the Australians in one of the fastest wickets. It was amazing to see Indian seamers operating better than ever. They really swinged the ball. Pathan starting to show some signs of comeback but needs to do it consistenetly to establish himself as one of the top allrounders. Promising of all was the young lad ISHANT sharma suddenly ishant sounds a famous name and hope the lad just grows in stature as a bowler.Again a important match for Sehwag who came good and should be a part of Indian team.We have a nice bench of new youngsters who can take up from the big threes at the moment and in all forms of cricket. I guess Sehwag, gambhir, pathan, uthappa, rohit sharma, yuvraj,Dhoni, harbhajan, ishant,r p singh, zaheer, dinesh karthik. Dont be surprised if you see this team in the next couple of years.Lets celebrate tonight and thrash the australians once more in adelaide to show that we are THE TEAM. ALL the best champs.

Who am I ??? why am I ???

Well the question that keeps haunting most people is "WHO AM I ?". What is my purpose? where am I?? Why am I??? and WHY me ??
Many people find the answer for these questions from different sources. Few people find it through religion. Few of them say that life is a mean or medium of achieving some eternal happiness. Some say a way of salvation .Some consider it as an opportunity to serve their people few say serving the mankind and few people may say serving themselves and few would say to enjoy and have fun. Some people say To set an example , few of them say to follow their LORD their IDOL. I-robot a movie says even the robots are created for some purpose. Each Robot even identifies that it has its own purpose and strive achieving that. But most of them have an justification good enough to keep doing it few of them may convince you as well but nothing as convinced me so far.

It does trouble me at times. I try finding the answer for these questions. why do I do some things? Some with reasoning and some without any specific reason. Some things automatically happens even if don't think about it and few of them never happens even if I try hard. Do I really know what I want in life and is all my deed justified. Is it the right way. Am i doing the thing intended for me and many such questions.Am I just going to live like most other and perish. I start thinking about it before it really gets dark laying on my sleeping bed when I haven't done anything all through the day and I finally submerge into it(darkness) completely.Time stops. I don't feel anything. Nothing then seems right nothing wrong. Nothing I love seems deserted nothing I hate embraces me. No pain No happiness. No sadness. Nothing cold Nothing Hot.Nothing bright nothing light . Nothing red nor blue neither green. Nothing beautiful nothing ugly.Nothing too loud nothing as in silence.Seems like everything and yet nothing. All words seems meaningless until something suddenly creeps into me to make me realize that I still exist.Once I recollect myself I get on with it follow some daily ablutions and Do things as if these were the things meant for me and keep on doing it don't know why? Until again in the mind these question arise just before I jump into my sleep.

India Loses ...

It really hurts when you watch cricket for 6 straight hours unmoved and the country who you support loses. I don't remember when i last saw test match so keenly. Didn't move even a inch , didn't miss a single ball. even took my rest room breaks in the drinks time. Was really sweating because of the pressure. My fists were tightly closed as if I had the bats. My hands sweating as if they were inside the gloves. But I couldnt do anything. Had to watch my country go down. WE couldnt manage a draw. We lost to the aussies yet again. I watched the match just because I didn't want the Australian to win the 16th test in a row. and my watching and my support didnt help a wee bit.
Well the day started with a little hopes of India Winning well practically I never thought we were gonna win but we had an outside cahnce if we got quicke wickets. It was fabulous piece of cricket by the Australians and as usual the Indian lacked the firepower in the bowling dept. The highlight of the australian was MR Cricket and the Power House symonds. Well most of the commentators thought that Ponting was a little bit late in declaring the australian innings. But at the end it turned out to be the perfect decision.India needed to play out 72 overs to aim for a draw and score 333 which was out of the question.
The Indian innings started with just 2 overs before lunch which is avery dodgy kind of situation for any opening batsmen and as expected WE SUCKED. The WALL and Jaffer opened. The wall took over the strike and got a single to expose the lanky mumbai batsmen. Brett Lee cleaned him up with a jaafer of a delivery, India One down before the battle begins.
After the lunch the Hyderbadi nawab laxman walks in with the wall to hold in for a while before the nawab perishes because of his lazy elegance. Could have got the front foot a little bit forward but the nawabs die elegantly. So comes the Little master. Plays well. Until the shrewd australians come up with a plan . They see him standing little down the crease. Standing down the crease helps negotiating a little bit of un even bounce in the pitch which was the reason for Our nawabs demise. The Mumbaikars are good in understanding these things. But the Pros are always a step ahead of the gully cricketers. Gilli comes close to the stumps forcing the little master to stand inside the crease. The masters tries to leave and play the ball outside the stump and the mean time the ball hits the edge of the bat and dismantles the furniture. The little master falls prey in the hands of the shrewd ponting and company.Well deserved wickets.
In walks the prince of Calcutta. plays like a prince with gorgeous cover drive and square cuts until the Tea time. So now australia needs 7 wickets and we need to negotiate with 42 overs. After Tea The power House symonds is introduced. dravid and the prince handle him easily until the ball which brushes the walls pad and is claimed as a catch by the australians. Umpire Buknor gets his tongue out and raises the FINGER that matters the most. The WALL had to return but manages a smile in disbelief. In comes YUVI. Plays the worst shot of his life. Needs a lot of talent for playing test cricket. he is a clean striker But Test cricket needs the application of such talents for a long period of time. Yuvi Disappoints. Then comes MY MAN DHONI. He tries is level best. We just need to negotiate the australians for 8 overs. Pads out the ball outside the offstump coming in . the finger goes up and suddenly I start losing faith. MY hands start sweating and there is suddenly a lot of pressure amongst the players and the spectators.
Kumble plays his heart out and lead the Indians from the front. In comes bhajji who starts of nicely until the man with the Golden arm or the PUP for the austrlian comes in. Michael Clarke. just 12 balls to spare. Australia needs 3 wickets and we need to hold the rusing australian for 12 balls. Kumble stands firm gets a single and now its the PAjis turn. and he hands out nicely to MR CRICKET and he doesnt drop many. India 8 down need to handle just 10 more balls. In comes RP singh tries to play football Insated of cricket Plays the penalty returns back. the last man only 9 balls to spare. Young Ishant sharma 19 years of age. brings the wrong pair of gloves in the pressure. PUP is on hatrick. Kumble on the other end standing all alone.Young Ishant blocks one. blocks one more until he too falls t the young clarke and WE loose. Spent My 6 hours. forget mine I really felt sorry for Kumble who nearly took blows all over the body. Cant blame anyone everybody played their part but Finally the asutralians win and start their celebreation. few Tears almost tried to sneak out of my eyes. But Control. iam really pissed offffff on the australians, didnt want them to win but they dont stop and I cant do anything other than feeling sorry for the Indians who really fought bravely especially The captain, DHoni .Sometimes Things dont work your way. Now We go to the WACA where we normally get screwed .australia 2-0 ahead and aiming for the world record of 17 staright test match wins.........Wot can I do...What can we do ...What can the Indian players do ............DESTINY rules....

first few things every new year

New year always brings new things, new aspirations new energy in everyones life and so it does in me as well. People make resolutions ,But I manage to do a few things always or rather have been doing so far every year

1) Well first and foremost I check out the astrology for that year obviously my star sign and especially if there are any specific good months, lucky numbers and not so good times rather tough months.
2) make sure I don't really get up early
3) Check the day of my birthday
4) Make sure I have a shower that day However late it may be
5) try to wish people until I feel that I have wished enough people
6) Make sure I don't quarrel with anyone
7) Of course talk to my parents
8) try to wish people in their mother tongue if I can.

I dont know y I do these things but i somehow manage to do and feel happy if I find my Birthday on a Sunday and if I see the months or days that i like in the lucky days. Nothing that it is going to matter much but i somehow end up doing these and I did this time as well

Taare zameen par

Two days before the New year bash, I along with my friends thought of watching a movie. So we stepped into a very dirty shabby looking place as we had not seen a Hindi Movie for a while. We had three options Om Shanti Om (which i had seen), Welcome and Taare zameen Par. We chose Taare Zameen par, thanks for that decision, anyway we saw Welcome the next night but repented on watching it.
Well taare zameen par is a master piece from AMMMMIR khan who over years has moulded himself into a artist of top notch. In this movie he has shown How talented he really is. I am a big fan of another star who is a fantastic artist and sets his own standard , Kamal hassan. But kamal screws himself by keeping most of the focus on himself and which at times doesn't give any room for other artist to play their part and thereby show how good he was in the time allotted. But this movie of aamir is nicely balanced with the first half being entirely allotted to the rest of the characters to show their talents and then the King shows up in the second half and shows his class and outplaying the rest.
I guess this movie doesn't have a great story line nor does it have the masala items to pull the crowd but AAmir has some how found the right balance of emotion, innocence and the right message through this movie which surely might have pulled a lot of crowd back home. He has picked the right kind of crew for the movie except the Kid who could have done a better role in the first half because most of his acting doesn't seem natural. People might differ and most of them did when i said this when i came out of the movie. A must watch movie for those who are gonna have a kid for themselves and the ones who are really struggling to cope up with their kids. Hats off to the mASter artist, Aammir .
